How To Enable and Disable cookies in Google Chrome.


Cookies are some files present on a website you visit which record data about you like how much time you spend on that site, what you like about that site and it also have features to report back whenever you visit that site again. All this the data are mainly used to show you ads on that site.
There are two types of cookies, one is First-party cookies which are created by the site you visit and another one is Third-party cookies which are created by other sites.

You can easily enable or disable cookies in Chrome Browser just by following the steps are shown below.

Following steps to enable and disable cookies in Chrome for desktop-

01. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the chrome browser and open settings.


02. Under settings, scroll down and click on Advanced.


03. Under the Privacy and Security section, click on Site settings.


04. Click on cookies to manage its settings.


05. Now change the setting as shown below in the picture and click Block third-party cookies.


 The setting is almost the same for the chrome browser on your Android Devices.

Following steps to enable and disable cookies in Chrome for Android-

01. Open your Chrome browser and click on the three dots in the upper right of the browser and open Settings > Site settings.


02. Under site settings click on Cookies and click on Block third-party cookies.




Note: You can easily block these third-party cookies, but make sure that it may cause some websites to behave strangely.
