5KPlayer is a totally free media player that can handle any type of audio and video file. The media player uses hardware acceleration to make playback smooth, even with 4K and 8K HDR recordings. The Hardware acceleration is based on the Nvidia CUDA, AMD and Intel Hardware Computing SDK.

5KPlayer is free software to download and can also play DVDs and can stream internet radio stations. You can choose any station you want like, BBC, Heart, Capital, Gold, LBC, XFM, Chill, Kiss, Magic and more. You can also directly enter the URL of a specific station that you like the most.

How To Play and Edit video files in 5KPlayer.

You can use 5KPlayer to edit your videos and it is quite simple to use. To edit your video:

#Step 1: At first, drag a video onto the player to start it. Use the controls bar to edit the video, take a screenshot and repeat or shuffle the clip or track.

Note: The Edit option works only with MP4/H.264 video formats.

#Step 2: You can use the sliders to cut out or trim part of the video. You can rotate or flip the clip, change its playback sound and adjust the volume.

#Step 3: If the picture quality of your video is not great, you can improve it by tweaking its saturation, contrast, and brightness. Click Save File.

#Step 4: Press F2 to open the Settings menu. The General section lets you change your save locations and configure the downloader.

In the H/W Acceleration section you can choose a hardware acceleration type. Click Recheck to refresh the options. You can enable and manage the DLNA and AirPlay options here too.
