Facebook has acquired the best VR game developer of 2019 named Sanzaru Games who won a title Asgard’s Wrath for an undisclosed sum.
Uploadvr.com reported that Sanzaru Games is going to join Facebook Oculus Studios as an “independently operated studio.
"We're thrilled to share that Sanzaru is joining the Oculus Studios team! Together, we will continue to pursue a future of rich, immersive and original VR game content. Excited for what's to come!" Sanzaru Games said in a statement.
"We can confirm the vast majority of Sanzaru will be joining the Oculus Studios team," Facebook said in a statement.
Facebook also acquired Beat Games in November, the company is popular in developing Virtual Reality rhythm game called Beat Saber. At present Beat, Games is a part of Facebook’s VR gaming Group Oculus Studios.
At the company’s sixth Oculus Connect conference in September, Facebook has shared its vision for Virtual Reality (VR) and they are planning a new update for Quest VR Headsets in the future.
The company also announced about Oculus Link by which users can connect Quest with a PC via a USB Type-C cable with a finger tracking for the Quest.
The company also launched Facebook Horizon where user can build their own VR worlds with any coding skills, there are some easy to use tools are available for this.
