Ola App gets Integrates with Emergency Button to Bengaluru Police Control Room.

Bengaluru City police on Thursday said Ola App emergency button is now gets contacted with Bengaluru Police Control Room for providing faster security response to the riders if they get in trouble.

Now, just by pressing the emergency button on the app the rider can get connected with the nearest police control room as well as at the same time it will activate Ola’s safety response team for telephonic assistance to the passenger. Ola has already introduced a similar safety feature arrangement with Hyderabad police.

“Bengaluru city police now offer more convenience and security to the citizens of the city and to ensure secure riding experience they introduce Suraksha app with Ola application,” said Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao in a statement.

The feature will help police to get rider’s information along with other details such as the car model, driver name and the geographic coordinates of the vehicle.

Similar to the feature is also introduced by Uber and Delhi Police for providing more safety to the city riders. They launch a safety app “Himmat” to help Delhi police to get real-time location and ride details in the case of emergency.

Both Ola and Uber is trying the best to give a secure ride to all the rider so one can enjoy their ride without any fear.
