Huawei Freebuds 3 Review and Price: Inspired by Dolphins.

Well, there’s the external design bits that Huawei calls ‘Dolphin Bionic Design’ which, well…basically gets you a better fit and a slimmer design. An open-ear design is not new, but it is quite unusual for earphones that pack in active noise cancellation (ANC) because there is no proper seal to keep the noise out while you enjoy your tunes.

Key features:
  • Pure Listening with Active Noise Cancellation.
  • Chipset Revolution: Redefining Bluetooth Connections
  • Studio-Quality Sound.
  • Ultra-Low Latency, High Synchronization

Still, the FreeBuds 3 promises to give you such a feature without something squeezing into your ear canals. So that’s a win-win. Part of that experience is down to the Kirin A1 chipset that not just gets the sound perfectly synchronized for both buds but also works wonders when watching videos, so there’s no audio lag.

Freebuds 3 is equipped with the world’s 1st certified BT/BLE dual-model Bluetooth 5.1 SoC, HUAWEI Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology, and a class-leading 356 MHz radio processor, the HUAWEI Freebuds 3 delivers a stable, fast Bluetooth connection, as well as an accurate audio and video synchronization.

The Freebuds 3 also pack in gesture controls. Just double-tap the right to play/switch music, or the left to turn on/off ANC.

Apart from ANC, there’s also environmental noise reduction when it comes to placing calls and that’s where the Dolphin bits come in…again. You see, Huawei’s Freebuds 3 also packs in a Bone Sensor, which works by picking up your voice through the finer vibrations from your jaw bone…just like a Bottlenose Dolphin.
